With a career in the print industry spanning over 30 years, Tim has managed many high-profile accounts for clients such as Iceland, Monsoon, John Lewis and House of Fraser.

CMYUK is delighted to announce that Tim Boore has joined their expanding organisation as Digital Sales Consultant. Tim’s knowledge and experience in digital print production is unrivalled in the industry, leveraging his extensive skills gained during 19 years at Image Factory, where as Head of Digital Technologies, he was responsible for converting all of their analogue screen printing lines over to digital. He is well-known for his creative, structural design and process implementation skills with industry-leading software and automation tools.

Robin East, Managing Director at CMYUK, quotes:To develop long-term strategic partnerships with customers, you have to understand how they think, their challenges and give them technology solutions that are aligned to their future business strategy. Tim is the perfect individual to deliver that approach.”

On joining CMYUK, Tim commented:Customers have empathy speaking to sales people who have lived and breathed production. I was responsible for integrating various printers whilst at Image Factory, including: EFI VUTEk QS 2000 / 3200, HP Scitex FB 7500 / 7600 / 10000 / 11000 / 17000 and four Kongsberg automated digital cutting tables. Complementing the production equipment I also implemented six digital web-to-print online stores using EFI Digital StoreFront, Esko ArtiosCAD and Automation Engine. I know my integration knowledge will greatly assist customers with their goals in automation, enhancing efficiency and increasing profitability.

Tim continues:The market is evolving and I see print becoming more and more personalised in POS, with huge growth in both Soft Signage and Décor and Design. This is one of the key factors that drew me to CMYUK. To keep up with that changing market and help develop customers, you need the right equipment and materials portfolio, demonstration, training and support infrastructure; CMYUK leads on all fronts.
