Melony will be developing CMYUK’s brand strategy in the burgeoning textile and environmental markets. She will report directly to Group Sales and Marketing Director, Robin East.

Melony is a seasoned journalist, editor, communications and content creation specialist who is accomplished in the writing, research and presentation of engaging, effective and relevant information across multiple formats.

She has been writing about technology for over twenty years – initially as a reporter for XYZ Magazine, which explored the fusion of digital technology with the creative industries, and most recently as Founding Editor of Smart Cities World – an online global platform that looks at technological solutions to the challenges of urban living.

Melony began her relationship with the wide-format digital printing industry in the late’90s when she was appointed Editor at Image Reports Magazine, and subsequently as a b2b freelance writer specialising in this area, she has seen first hand how the industry has evolved and matured.

“I am thrilled to be a permanent member of the CMYUK team, and am very excited about this dynamic role. It’s an interesting time as the company looks to expand both its markets and geographical reach. Robin East said, Producing high quality communication and content across multiple platforms has become key for us. Melony will spearhead our content delivery, she has an impressive pedigree and we’re delighted to have her.”
