UK company Rockets to New Heights with an EFI VUTEk LX3 printer from CMYUK

Large format digital production company Rocket Graphics has recently announced considerable expansion to its Watford-based facilities, adding 6,000 square feet to the Croxley Business Park site. This additional space is now home to a new 3.2m EFI VUTEk LX3 UV LED hybrid printer, purchased from CMYUK – the UK’s largest independent supplier of wide-format digital printers, cutting equipment and materials.

“The new VUTEk LX3 has not only improved print quality significantly, but has given us a 400% increase in speed performance. We can also now offer our clients unrivalled white printing applications at significantly higher speeds and opacity. We were recently able to deliver and install wall graphics measuring more than 3,000m in a very short turnaround time for the Ryder Cup, where both colour quality and speed were of the essence," said Rocket Graphics’ Sales Director Antony Rider.

The EFI VUTEk LX3 is designed for high production throughput, enabling shorter lead times to customers, while delivering the ultimate image quality, and with the versatility to support the widest range of materials and applications. “The eight colours plus white printer configuration, with multilayer printing, is a winning combination for Rocket, who are always looking to offer the very latest applications and innovations to their customers” said Robin East, CMYUK Group Director.
